You’ll witness the “middle land” transformed into a monochromatic masterpiece of white snow and deep blue skies. Traveling in specialized 4×4 vehicles or snow-ready Tempo Travellers, we navigate the legendary Hindustan-Tibet Highway. From the last village of India to the world’s highest post office, this is not just a tour; it’s a survival-style adventure wrapped in warm Spitian hospitality.

Day 01 :

Delhi to Shimla | Overnight Volvo Journey

Your journey begins in the evening at the Delhi Volvo terminal. Board your luxury AC Semi-Sleeper for an overnight ride. Our Zoom Himachal team will keep you updated on the boarding point and departure time.

Day 02 :

Shimla to Kalpa/Rampur (230 KM | 8-9 HRS)

Arrival in Shimla early morning. Switch to your private mountain vehicle and begin the climb. Drive through the cedar forests of Kufri and Narkanda. Depending on the road conditions, we reach the beautiful town of Kalpa (or Rampur as a backup). Enjoy your first view of the mighty Kinner Kailash range.

Day 03 :

Kalpa to Tabo via Nako & Gue (160 KM | 8 HRS)

Drive deeper into the desert. Stop at Khab Sangam and the frozen Nako Lake. Visit the Gue Monastery to see the 500-year-old self-mummified monk, a sight that feels even more mystical in the winter silence. Reach Tabo by evening.

Day 04 :

Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar Monastery (65 KM | 4 HRS)

Explore the "Ajanta of the Himalayas"—Tabo Monastery. Later, drive to Dhankar, where the monastery seems to grow out of the cliffs. Arrive in Kaza, the base for the next two days. Settle into your heated homestay.

Day 05 :

Kaza | Hikkim, Komic & Langza (The High Circuit)

Today, we head to the highest inhabited villages. Walk through the snow to the Hikkim Post Office, visit the world's highest motorable village at Komic, and stand before the giant Buddha statue at Langza. Return to Kaza for a cozy evening by the fire.

Day 06 :

Kaza | Key Monastery & Chicham Bridge

Visit the iconic Key Monastery, a fortress of faith in the snow. Later, cross the Chicham Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in Asia. Spend the afternoon in Kaza market, trying local Thukpa or Butter Tea.

Day 07 :

Kaza to Rampur/Shimla | Return Descent

Begin the long journey back. Descend from the high desert of Spiti back into the greener valleys of Kinnaur. We aim to reach Rampur or Shimla by late evening for our final night in the hills.

Day 08 :

Shimla to Delhi | Final Departure

After a relaxed breakfast, spend some time at the Shimla Mall Road. In the afternoon/evening, board your return Volvo for Delhi. Arrive in Delhi the following morning with a heart full of stories.
